Hello Weekend!
Yes yes I know that it is only Tuesday but this super cute hooded shirt from RubyClaire Boutique is just way to comfy to wait until the weekend to wear! You guys know that my style revolves around being a mom, I need my clothes to be both functional and comfortable so that I can still run around and not worry about getting a bit dirty throughout the day with River. As a mom and pet lover there’s absolutely no point in trying to stay completely clean throughout the day because A.) Children and animals can sense your fear of dirt and therefore become more attracted to the idea of getting you dirty, making it a game to chase you around screaming like a monster to wipe every booger, dirt wad, or food covered cheek all over you. and B.) You would have to live inside of a bubble to stay clean, and honestly what kind of life is that?

I feel like the trend these past couple of years has been trying to marry the grunge, oversized look with the elegance of a skirt or nice pair of slacks. They have a hello beautiful tee that I think would be just as cute paired with a pencil skirt and heels as it would with jeans and flip flops! All about balancing the look right? haha…
I wore my shirt yesterday for our weekly family night at the park, I paired it with my favorite Hollister skinny jeans and my nikes. During the day I wore a pair of my Birkenstock sandals but River has gotten so fun and playful at the park that I swapped my sandals out for my tennies so that I can run up and down the equipment with her. We spent the night chasing her, climbing trees, playing hide and seek, running up and down the hills, swinging and closed with a little lesson on jesus. I won’t lie when I say river was dead asleep within five minutes of leaving the park.
Oh yeah I’m a red head now!! What do you all think about it?? I love the change for fall! It has been so fun to make such a drastic change. I have colored my hair pretty much every color you can think of but this one has got to be my favorite yet!
