Happy spring everyone! And hello from my blog! Holy smokes it has been a long while since I last made an appearance on here! In my defence though I did get pregnant and dealt with a lot of scary stuff early and midway through with this pregnancy so I kind of have a good excuse, yeah? lol…
I feel like I need to dedicate a post just to being chatty kathy so that I can fill everyone in on what has been going on as of late. For those of you who do not follow me on IG (@kyleeskorner) you may or may not know that I am a little pregnant right now, actually Im a lot pregnant as I just hit week 30 with A little guy who likes to sit so far forward that my bladder acts as his own personal trampoline! He is SUPER active, he kicks and punches what seems like all day (and night) long River thinks that it is hilarious and is constantly placing her little hands on my tummy and giving him a little shake so he will say hello. This pregnancy definitely hasn’t been a cakewalk like my pregnancy with River but we honestly couldn’t be more excited to welcome this little boy into our lives in a few more weeks. Cody and I were talking the other day about how crazy it is to think that he could pop out on the same timeline as River who was three weeks early, I get a little anxious and a lot a bit excited thinking that he could grace us with his presence in 7 weeks or so! EEEEKKK! Crazy! I promise to go into more detail about everything soon but lets get onto todays post shall we?
Chasing the Snow seemed like the perfect title for todays post because that is pretty much what we did last weekend as a family. In the area that we live in we don’t get a ton of snow throughout winter. If we do get a snowstorm the snow is melted again within a few days time. I am perfectly fine with this because to be completely honest i’m not much of a winter weather person. I grew up in Texas so cold weather is not fun for me haha… however my daughter and husband are obsessed with the snow, so we decided to load up the car and take a little drive over to Stanley and Sun Valley Idaho. We were in for the best surprise ever as we entered into Stanley and they didn’t just have a few inches of snow like I was thinking they would but instead at least three feet of snow still hanging around! It was insane! We enjoyed each others company as we drove and had so much fun playing in the snow, even I didn’t mind it because we had the sun on our side that kept us nice and warm as we played for what seemed like hours. River had a blast and not even five minutes after getting into the car she fell asleep. I know that everyone was probably enjoying their first spring weekend planting flowers and such but we had a blast playing in and hiking around in the snow! I hope you all have a fabulous day, thank you again for stopping by!
