Fall is already right around the corner, ladies! I feel like Summer went by way too quickly, even in spite of all the big changes that are happening right now. Even though I am a flip flop, tank top wearing kinda girl, I’m always excited to see what trends are coming out each season and all of the new products that are being stocked on shelves. There are always a few things that are given major hype each season by celebrities and designers that leave me scratching my head. I don’t care how trendy something is, I will not wear it just to try to be current. I believe in staying true to myself and feeling comfortable with whatever I am wearing. However, I love seeing some of the new makeup trends, popular colors and handbags that get released every Fall. It is a perfect time of the year to treat yourself to something new that you can rock for the next few months! I listed some of my favorite trends that are making a splash this month!
Blazers
Blazers were once styled mainly for women to wear at work. However, lately you can find them being worn dressed down with jean shorts and a graphic tee while running errands! They are a fun way to add some style to a comfortable look, while staying warm!
Chain Accent Bags
Handbags with chains are more popular than ever! Some bags have chain links added as decor, while others are using chains as straps. I love this small Kate Spade chain bag that would be perfect for a date night!
Marigold
Every season seems to always have one color that you start to see everywhere. This season marigold is making a big splash on all of the shelves. The dark yellow color is a perfect transition color from Summer to Fall. It is still cheerful and adds a pop of color to your outfit, while transitioning to a darker tone while the days are starting to cool off. I am loving these cute and affordable tops from the Loft and Target.
Colored Eyeliner and Mascara
I love seeing the bright colors that people are playing with on their eyes! Lots of ladies are tossing their brown and black eyeliners and mascaras for something that adds a little pop of color. I know it is not traditional and may seem strange at first, but give it a try on a night out. This Urban Decay eyeliner is one of my favorites and comes in 39 colors! I am excited to try one of the colored mascaras that are out and thought this Colour Pop one looked like a lot of fun!
DIY Nail Art
I think more people have been getting into the DIY nail trend, especially since the start of Covid. Now that you have gotten more practice doing it yourself at home, you can add some fun nail art to your mani. Target has a ton of different stickers for nails that are easy to apply. These white starts would look really pretty against a dark color for Fall!
Mary Janes
It’s time for a throwback ladies- who else remembers wearing Mary Janes as a little girl? These cute shoes are making a major comeback for women right now and come in a ton of different variations. I love these black platform ones for a night out or the simple flats during a work day!
Wide-Leg Denim
Denim is always evolving and the in style that is trending is always changing or going back to something that was popular before. I have learned to always hold onto my jeans, because they will come back to being trendy at some point. Wide leg jeans are trending for this Fall and look super comfortable and chic.
