Hello There! How are you on this beautiful Tuesday? Do you have anything that you would like to get accomplished today? I’m so fortunate to have the chance to be a stay at home mommy, I love having the opportunity to hang out with my daughter playing games and doing learning exercises. But I feel like ever since I have made the transition from working wife to stay at home mom I have become SUPER lax when it comes to cleaning up the house and doing laundry! Has this happened to anyone else? When I was working, during my days off I would clean up our already clean house and get laundry finished and folded but now I have this inner battle back and forth trying to talk myself into cleaning haha…. So my goal for today is to do a dozen loads (im not exaggerating) of laundry as well as get them ironed and folded! Ready, set go!

Ok enough about my dirty house, lets talk about this outfit shall we? If you follow me on Instagram (follow me here) then you know that I have been dreaming of making this skirt mine for a while now. It’s sexy, comfortable, leather (faux) and so slimming! You would be crazy not to own it, it’s nice and long so it makes a perfect transitional piece from summer to fall or winter to spring just change up the top and accessories and your good to go. I will caution you on one thing though, the sizing runs small, this is NOT a stretchy skirt so don’t order the wrong size like I did and have to deal with sending it back and waiting for the new one to come in! I also love this sweater that I scored the other day at Old Navy, it is nice a simple but there is something about it that is so beautiful! Happy Friday everyone!! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? I have a hot date with my bathtub and ice packs planned out because I hurt my back earlier this week and it just doesn’t seem to be healing. It probably has a lot to do with the fact that I don’t rest it and I am constantly toting my daughter around. So I’ve decided to take the advice and help offered and am going to try to get this long back of mine healed up so I can stop walking around like I’m the hunchback of notre dom! Waaahhh!

I signed up for Fabletics VIB program as soon as I found out about it because I am a little bit of a work out freak and when you look and feel cute while exercising you are more willing to put the time into working out. I also signed up for it in large parts because I absolutely adore Kate Hudson (founder)! If you look them up on Facebook or just go to their website and sign up I’m pretty sure you can get your first entire outfit for free! Who does that?! So awesome! You wont be disappointed when you check out their cute dance inspired clothing I promise! And once you see the quality and cuteness of this brand and receive your outfit in the mail you are sure to do a happy dance! Well I hope that yall have a fabulous weekend!!

Hey all!! Happy Monday! Did you guys have a good weekend? I sure hope so! Our weekend consisted of family time at a park, a bbq and… the ER, yes I said the ER. We went to my in laws house for dinner last night and while River was playing upstairs she managed to take a pretty bad tumble off the bed. Cody and I knew something was wrong right away because she was holding her arm and wouldn’t stop crying/screaming. We took her to the ER and confirmed a broken collarbone. She was so brave and good in the ER even while they did the x-rays! All of the staff loved and doted on her and of course she loved being center of attention. She walked out of there with THREE new stuffed animals, Two blown up gloves and one cute little arm sling! They told us that at this age kids bones are mostly cartilage and heal very quickly so we were happy about that!

Todays look is another fun, simple and fall inspired look! I love this blouse don’t you? The details are so pretty and really add the extra umph that a simple outfit needs. I love not having to wear jewelry to add drama; it’s nice when the drama is already built in! These jeans are another from Alloy and I was afraid to order them because they are high wasted and I didn’t know if I would like them. They are SO comfortable! No joke! And SOOOOOO slimming! I feel like I’m ten pounds lighter when I wear these jeans and I don’t have to worry about this hanging out here or that hanging out there they keep everything sucked in and make you look nice and slim!

Good morning all! I apologize in advance for today’s post being cut a little short. My little lady isn’t very happy and won’t let me put her down.

I love this look, I have said before that I don’t enjoy the cooler weather but I do feel like the best fashion comes in the fall and early spring when it is all about layers! When my hubby and I lived in Rexburg there was a little fashion blogger there that would always tie her scarves in a knot and drape them around her neck belting them at the waist to create a vest type look (total genius!). I’ve held onto that “trend” since, every fall and winter you will see me wearing my scarves this way all thanks to The Daybook girl haha…  Well anyway I sure hope that yall have a great day and enjoy todays look! Sorry that I didn’t link everything in, my daughter keeps pounding on my computer and keyboard not letting me accomplish much on the blogging end. J

I’ve recently discovered Old Navy’s tall section online and have been buying stuff from them like a mad woman! When you are super tall and have a very limited selection at normal department stores finding places that carry tall call for an all out celebration! So Hoooorrraaayy to Old Navy and their tall section that I get caught up in from time to time.

We took River to the park the other day and I was running around going up and down slides, swinging, playing in the sand and everything else you can imagine. This outfit was super comfy and easy, I didn’t have to worry about it being to restricting or limiting, I was still able to have a lot of fun with my little love bug. Any tall ladies out there check out Old Navy’s tall section, I’m 6’1” and their tall clothes fit beautifully and what I love about their selection is that they offer all of their tall in regular and petite so there is always something for everyone!
