Handbags. One of my favorite accessories that there ever was! I know there are plenty of people (mainly my husband) who do not understand my love for a good handbag. It is something that should be functional to hold whatever items I need when I leave my house. Does it really matter what it looks like as long as its main purpose is being fulfilled? To this I say yes- yes it does. A purse is something I use every single day. And while I do need it to provide a level of functionality on holding my everyday necessities, it’s also so much more than that to me. Most ladies like to accessorize an outfit after they’ve spent time getting a shower and doing their hair and makeup. A handbag can be the last thing you add that will pull your entire outfit together! And, can we just take a minute to acknowledge how many choices we have when picking out a purse? They come in so many different sizes, shapes, materials, and colors that there is a perfect choice for everyone! How in the world would we be able to narrow down the choices to only one or two and base it on functionality only? When my handbag game is on point with whatever style I am rocking that day, I feel like my entire look is complete! Spring time is the perfect chance to start hunting for a new handbag for the upcoming warmer weather. Every designer is racking their brains on coming out with something new and eye catching. Straw bags are making an appearance everywhere this year! I love how many different shapes and colors they come in as well. I think they are the perfect accessory for a beach vacation or a warm summer date night!

Clear bags are back again this year. I wasn’t sure how I felt about them when they first came out. But, I love how easy it is to find whatever I need. It also motivates me to keep my bag organized and cleaned out since you can see everything inside of it!
Neon Colored Bags
I love purses that are bright and stand out. Neon colors are popping up everywhere. If you are wearing a darker colored outfit, these can really brighten up your look!
Lanyard Bags
Lanyard “bags” are making a big splash on the runways this year. I wasn’t sure at first because they obviously don’t hold much. But, if you are running a quick errand and just need your license and one card they work well. They could also be perfect when you are in the airport and need to keep your ID close by and you don’t want to have to rummage through a large bag to find it.
Bucket Bags
I am obsessed with this bucket bag from Express. It is a perfect size to hold all of your date night essentials and dress up any outfit. You also can’t beat the price!
