The Best Stocking Stuffers On Amazon

Christmas is officially less than a month away! Who else can’t believe it? I have been trying to buy toys and presents for my family as I see things when we are out, especially if they are on a good sale. I feel like my children are usually easy to buy for- they basically want every toy that they see on tv! However, sometimes I struggle on getting creative with the rest of my family, especially with stocking stuffers! I promised myself I wouldn’t procrastinate this year on trying to find some cool and unique gifts for their stockings. Anyone who has been following me knows my love for Amazon. So, of course I have resorted to them to help me find the best and most affordable gifts this year. Check out some of my favorite things that I have gotten so far for the adult guys, gals and tweens in my life. I’d recommend ordering sooner than later so you will have plenty of time to have everything shipped to you. Amazon makes my life so much easier this way- no lines or traffic to deal with! Happy shopping!

For the Tweens:

Nail Polish Set of 12

My nieces are starting to get into all the girly goodies, so they love to do their nails. I love all the bright and fun colors this kit has to offer. You can’t beat the price either for 12 different nail polishes!

Sneaker Ball Deodorizers

I know a lot of kids are into so many different activities and have their own sports bags to keep all their gear in. I also know those bags can get smelly after lots of use. I love throwing in one of these cute deodorizer balls to help with that sweaty smell!

Colorful and Fun Socks

Who doesn’t love fun and colorful socks? These are so vibrant and fun for any age and the price is amazing! They also get awesome reviews.

Skeleton Gloves

These skeleton gloves are awesome for the young men in your life. They are fun, casual and will help keep them warm during those cold winter months.

For the Gals:

Fashion Reading Glasses

My mom and mother in law are always looking around the house for their readers. I got them each a pack of these last year and they absolutely love them. They can leave a pair on each floor of their house, in their car and in their purse. Plus, they are adorable, a great price and get amazing reviews!

Wallet Purse For Your Phone

I love these small cell phone wallets. You can carry them as a clutch, wallet or crossbody. Plus, they come in a ton of different colors and have slots for your license and credit cards. This is perfect when you want to run a few errands without being weighed down by a big handbag.

Chapstick Holder

These Chapstick key chain holders are so adorable. I am constantly digging for my Chapstick in my purse, but these make it so quick and easy to find. They come as a pair, so you can share one with a friend or give as two separate gifts!

Bath Bombs

I am obsessed with bath bombs. You can get them for any lady or girl who likes to take relaxing bubble baths. These are a best seller on amazon. The price is great, and the packaging is so pretty and feminine.

For the Guys:

Leather Wallet

My husband always likes to have a fresh-looking wallet. It can get overwhelming trying to find the perfect one because there are so many to choose from. I found this one last year and he loved it! There are several different colors to choose from and it gets amazing reviews!

Cigar Cutter

If you have a guy in your life who likes to enjoy an occasional cigar, this is a great cigar cutter. It’s stainless steel, has amazing reviews and is under $10 with free shipping!

Tabasco Sauce Keychain

Do you know a guy who likes everything they eat to be hot and spicy? This tabasco sauce comes in a small bottle on a keychain! It’s prefect for your man to always have access to making his food delicious!

Heat Resistant Gloves

These gloves can come in handy for so many things. They are heat and fire resistant so are perfect for grilling, bonfires and fire building. They are under $17 and have free shipping!

False Eyelashes 101: How To Apply Them Like a Pro!

I often get compliments on my thick eyelashes, and although I wish I could take all the credit, I have to say that false lashes are one of my secret weapons. False eyelashes are fun! They give you incredible fullness and a natural, lush look if you apply them correctly. They’re perfect for that special occasion like a wedding or date night and can give you an instant glam look.

Here’s an easy crash-course in applying false eyelashes. It’s really not hard—you can do it and do it like a pro! Follow the step-by-step guide below or watch exactly how I apply my lashes in the Facebook Live vide at the end of this post.

How To Apply False Eyelashes Like a Pro

  1. Get your false eyelashes and lash glue. I use Ardell lashes and Ardell Duo dark glue (it dries black instead of clear.) I’ve used everything from high-end lashes to low-end ones and I always, always come back to Ardell 110 lashes. I LOVE them! They make my eyelashes feel even more full. You can get Ardell false lashes and Ardell Duo glue at Target and Amazon. For beginners, I recommend the demi-wispies. You can get glam ones, but the Ardell 110 lashes are a good place to start.
  2. Draw a fine line eyeliner on each eye. You want the lash to look full and defined so applying a thin line of black eyeliner will help your lashes blend and pop.
  3. Apply a light coat of mascara. Not too thick, but a delicate coat of mascara will help the lashes grip better.
  4. *BEGINNER TIP: Measure and clip. Before you apply any false lashes you need to measure them to your eye. My hot tip for beginners—clip the lash into three segments. I can’t even tell you how much easier this makes applying fake lashes! (Watch the video for example.) To measure the lashes, tilt your head up and lay the lashes on top of your real lashes (no glue). I don’t like them too close to the corners of my eye—it irritates my eyes. Trim off the edges as needed and then clip the lash into three equal sections.
  5. Dab the base of the lashes in glue. Dab a blot of glue to the back of your hand, a small paper plate, or the container the lashes came in. Dip the base of the false lash into the glue.
  6. WAIT 1 minute before applying. This is key—you have to wait about a minute until the glue is tacky before you apply it. If you don’t wait, the lashes will slide and it will drive you crazy. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP! If I could share one secret to applying false lashes, this would be it! Wait until the glue is tacky before applying.
  7. Start on the outer part of the eye (closer to the ear). After the glue on the false lash is tacky (sticky), place it on top of your lashes, right next to the lash line. Hold it there for a second until the lash sticks without sliding. (Watch video below.)
  8. Repeat for each of the three segments by dabbing the base of the false lash into the glue, wait for 1 minute until the glue turns tacky, then apply to the base of your lashes. The biggest trick to applying false lashes like a pro is WAITING until the glue turns tacky.
  9. Once all lash segments are applied, you can use tweezers to pat them down.
  10. Apply a coat of mascara and you’re done!

If you see the lash band, just dot eyeliner over the top of the band to conceal it.

How long do the lashes last?

Good question. You can count on false lashes to get you through one whole day. I like to take them of before bed each night.

Are they easy to remove?

Another good question, and yes, false lashes are easy to remove! Grab top of the false lashes and lightly tug; this should remove your false lashes fairly easily. You can also take some warm water in your fingertips and squeeze your lashes. This will warm up the glue and the lashes will slip right off.

False lashes are a lot of fun, especially when you’re going for that glam look and eyes that pop! Thanks for joining me at Kylee’s Korner! If you love makeup and beauty, you might also like:

Wearable Pin Up Makeup Tutorial

Wearable Pin Up Makeup Tutorial:

Hi there!

Welcome back, sorry that I was a little MIA last week! Do you ever feel like you just need a break from the computer? I have been on it so much lately with editing videos and blogging that I had completely lost track of my priorities. I was working on the computer so much that I would put my personal time with my family on the back burner, so I decided to take a much needed break last week and spend some much needed time with the ones I love most! I have some fun and exciting crafts, tutorials and fashion posts coming up, even a few halloween inspired ones! YAY! Does anyone else LOVE halloween as much as I do?? I have always loved halloween, but now that we have river it has quickly become one of my favorite holidays. I love to get her dressed up to go trick or treating and going to the pumpkin patch to pick out our jack o lantern. Kids make life so much better!

Ok enough about halloween, although this look would be excellent for a halloween costume, but lets get onto the tutorial! Like I said the other week no one has ever done glam like old hollywood. I feel like the combination of retro waves paired with a winged liner, red lips and some lashes is so beautiful and classic. It has been around for years and I can’t get enough of it as of late. I really hope that you all enjoy this tutorial! Thanks again for watching!
