My Favorite New Beauty Finds

There have been so many new makeup, skin and hair products flooding the market lately, it’s hard to keep up on which ones are worth a try. As you all know, it can get very pricey to try everything so I like to wait for reviews on products to come in to see what people are loving or leaving. I have treated myself to some new finds over the last couple of months and have loved some of the products so far. Since Christmas time is coming up, I thought it would be a perfect time to share my new must have items with everyone. These would make awesome Christmas presents for the ladies in your life, or as a treat to yourself (those are sometimes the best presents)! Be sure to let me know your thoughts on the products if you decide to give them a try, or share whatever products you have been loving lately, too!

L’Oreal Skin Water Infused Tinted Moisturizer

L’Oreal has just come out with a new tinted moisturizer that is currently sold online only. The foundation is super lightweight, has a built in SPF, and is also infused with mainly water and aloe vera. It is a perfect tinted moisturizer to throw on when I am running errands or going to be outside and want coverage from the sun. It is very natural looking and the price is on point!

Rare Beauty Liquid Highlight

Selena Gomez just launched a beauty line a couple of months ago through Sephora. She has done a really great job keeping the price point affordable on all of her products and the positive reviews have been flooding in since it has launched. I have tried a few of the products and have been really pleased with the liquid highlighter. It gives a soft and silky glow to your face that lasts throughout the evening. It is also vegan and cruelty-free!

Honest Mascara

Another celebrity makeup line has become one of my must have items in my every day makeup routine. Jessica Alba created a line awhile back that promotes products that have cleaner ingredients. I just tried her mascara and I am in love! The tube doubles as a mascara and a primer and has an affordable price point compared to other mascaras. I have been able to achieve really long lashes without all of the clumping. I am a mascara fanatic and have tried a ton of different ones on the market ranging in price. This mascara has quickly become one of my all time favorites!

Tula Instant Facial

Tula has become an extremely popular skincare line, especially with many influencers. The products range in price and can be found in Ulta, Nordstrom and on their own website. I have tried a couple of them and really enjoyed the instant facial treatment pads. The pad contains two different sides that are used to exfoliate and smooth your skin. I am always left shocked at how smooth and soft my skin feels after this mini at home facial. I think it is definitely worth the splurge of treating yourself to this every week.

Liquid Foundation Brush

Another Rare Beauty find that I have really been enjoying is the foundation brush. It is one of the softest brushes I have ever bought and retails for only $28, which is much more affordable than most other brushes. The brush is packed with soft bristles that make it easy to blend out and build coverage with whatever product you are using.

Charlotte Tilbury Bronzing Powder

Charlotte Tilbury is one of my favorite makeup brands to splurge on. When I found this bronzing powder, I knew I had to give it a try and it has not disappointed! It is on the pricer side, but it is large and will last a really long time. It also contains hyaluronic acid and blends well with your skin to make your face look warmer and have a sun kissed look. The reviews have been really positive and people can’t seem to get enough of this beautiful product!

My Favorite Lash Products

I feel like most makeup lovers are always on the hunt for how we can make our lashes look fuller, longer and more fabulous. I am always finding myself gravitating towards trying every new lash product that comes out to see if there are any new developments that will bring my lash game to the next level. While I absolutely love a good mascara, let’s not forget all of the other awesome products that are on the market right now for lashes. Plus, lash bars and salons have become increasingly popular over the last couple of years. I am definitely a fan of getting eyelash extensions when I have the time to maintain them (which is super hard with four kiddos at home)! However, lash extensions can get very costly to keep up with on a regular basis. I have found that you can find so many awesome and more affordable products that you can use at home to give yourself the beautiful lashes your heart desires. A strong lash game can really make your eyes pop and make you look more awake. Mascara is one of the easiest and quickest things to apply if you are in a hurry but still want to look put together. Check out some of my favorite products out right now that will be sure to leave you with lovely lashes!

Lancome Mascara

This is one of the most loved mascaras that is on the market. It is constantly receiving near 5 star reviews on every site that sells it, and for good reason. This is one of the best mascaras I have found that elongates your lashes, separates them and keeps them clump free. I think it is perfect for a natural look that won’t look overdone, too!

L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Mascara

This L’Oreal mascara is one of my favorite affordable products that can be picked up at Target or any drug store. I like to wear it when I want voluminous lashes to go with a full makeup look.

Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara

Bottom lashes can be hard to cover with a full size brush. I absolutely love this small mascara made by Clinique. It comes in a small tube with a small brush that is a perfect size to cover your bottom lashes or the lashes on the inside corner of your eyes!

RevitaLash Eyelash Conditioner

RevitaLash products are the bomb, but also come with a hefty price tag. This eyelash conditioner helps condition your lashes to improve moisture and shine, and make them look more luxurious. I think it is worth the splurge if you want to give it a try!

Magnetic Lashes

Magnetic lashes have been all the rage for the last couple of years and for good reason! They are a quick and easy way to apply lashes for a night out or whenever you want to add some volume and length. The set comes with an eyeliner that has a magnetic ingredient in them. Once it is applied, simply attach the magnetic lashes and BOOM- instant lash gratification. I think these are a lot easier to learn how to use then lashes that need to be glued on and they are easy to remove!

False Demi Lashes

If you are looking for falsies to wear, these have always been a favorite of mine. They are affordable and great quality. I also think the wispies give a pretty natural look that can be worn for any occasion!

Lancome Lash Primer

Lancome for the win, again! This primer also gets amazing reviews and ups your lash game. Apply a coat before you put on your mascara of choice. You will automatically notice your lashes look longer and thicker. Plus, this primer helps condition your lashes!

Lash Curler

Lash curlers are not for everyone and you need to be careful when using them. However, I think a good lash curler can definitely help make your lashes look longer. This curler from Tweezerman is getting great reviews and is at an affordable price point, too.

Affordable Makeup With Rave Reviews

Any lady who wears makeup knows that there are so many choices when choosing what is going to work best for your skin, desired look and budget. There is an overwhelming amount of makeup brands and products to choose from. I love dabbling with makeup and I have definitely invested in some pallets and brands that have hit my piggy bank hard. However, I have always been someone who has never been defined by labels or brands. I am always on the hunt for a bargain and like using things that are affordable, without sacrificing on quality. I have been reading up on reviews and trying out new products that have a loyal following and are super budget friendly. I also feel less guilty about spending money on something I’ve never tried before if it is more affordable. I don’t always like to take a risk on high dollar makeup or skincare products, to later find out they caused a bad reaction with my skin or just wasn’t I was looking for. I have put together my favorite finds so far this year. Let me know if you have a chance to try out any and what you think of them! I hope you love them as much as I do.

NYX Microbrow Pencil

I have been really impressed with this brow pencil that I found at Target for under $10! It comes in eight different shades and is double ended with a pencil and spoolie that allows you to comb out your brows and achieve a more natural look.

L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara

I think I have tried just about every mascara that has ever been made. I think taking time to make your eyelashes pop can make your entire face look put together. I have been loving this voluminous mascara from L’Oreal. It’s under $9 and even comes in a brown shade for when you are going for a more natural and subtle makeup look.

Tinted Chapstick

Some days I want to add a pop of color to my lips, without making them look overdone. I just discovered this tinted chapstick and I think it is amazing! It gives a soft neutral pink tint to your lips, while moisturizing them! You are getting two lip tasks completed for the price of one!

Morphe Artistry Palette

This eyeshadow pallet from Morphe is one of my favorite finds. You get 35 eyeshadow colors for only $25!! You can not beat that price! I love all of the neutral colors that are included. Plus you get a variety of mattes and shimmers to choose from. This is a no brainier go to pallet to keep on hand!

Essence Long-Lasting Eye Pencil

This might be the most affordable eye liner I have ever found, coming in at under $2.50! I was a bit skeptical because the price was so low, but the reviews are incredible. This pencil gets over 500 5 star reviews at Ulta and is offered in three different shades.

Ardell Eyelash Wispies

As I mentioned before, I love a full and voluminous lash look. These false lashes from Target are super affordable, get great reviews and are perfect for a natural look.

Revlon Photo Ready Foundation

Foundation can be one product that is tricky to find and hard to fall in love with. I find once I like something, I usually stick with it for years. I have been hearing a lot about this Revlon photo ready foundation that can be found at Ulta for under $11. There are days when I want to look put together to run out quickly, but don’t want to waste some of my more expensive makeup for a quick trip. I feel like this would be a great foundation to try, especially with all of the amazing reviews I have read about it.

Neutrogena Shine Control Primer

I have always been a fan of Neutrogena products. I was excited to find this primer on Amazon. It helps create a smooth surface to apply makeup to and helps reduce the amount of oil and shine your face shows throughout the day.

Milani Bronzing Powder

Target for the win again! I love adding a little bit of bronzing powder to my face, especially in the winter months. This powder from Milani comes in three shades, is under $9 and gets almost perfect reviews across the board! It is also loved by well known influencers and is long lasting throughout the day.

Ulta Full Coverage Concealer

Ulta has a lot of makeup and tools that they have produced themselves. This full coverage liquid concealer has been one of my favorite Ulta brand finds. It is full coverage, suitable for all skin types and has aloe vera in it that can help reduce redness and inflammation.

My Favorite Beauty Tools

Has anyone else noticed the overwhelming amount of products and tools that can be used in the makeup world? It seems like they are always trying to come out with a better mouse trap on how to apply your favorite products. I will admit some of the gadgets are amazing and can make a difference in your makeup game. However, not only can  it be expensive to try to keep up with every new tool, but I don’t think they all live up to their hype. I am a loyal lady and like to stick to things that I know work well, even if they are dated and simple. I have listed some of my go to tools that I use when glamming myself up that I think you might love, too! Give them a try and see what you think!

1. My Fingers

Yes- you read that correctly. If you have been following me on Kylee’s Korner and have watched my makeup tutorials, you know I love to use my fingers as tools a lot. I find they can be the best way to blend in foundation, concealer and eyeshadow. Better yet- they don’t cost you a thing!

2. Makeup Brush Drying Rack

When you do use a brush to apply your makeup, it is extremely important to make sure your are cleaning them often. If you don’t keep them clean, bacteria can form and can cause breakouts and other problems with your skin. After cleaning them, try using a makeup drying rack. This tool is a space saver and will allow your brush to keep its original shape and not get flattened out. I love this cute and affordable one from Target!

3. Tinkle Razors

This product doesn’t help while applying makeup directly to the skin, but it is amazing for prepping it! I have spoken about my love for tinkle razors on my Facebook and Instagram pages a ton. These affordable and easy to use razors help get the peach fuzz off of your face, which makes your makeup lay smoother and have an airbrushed looking finish!

4. Pencil Sharpener

For those ladies who like using regular pencil eyeliners, a sharpener is a must to keep your pencil with a perfect point. There are so many sharpeners to choose from today and they can get a bit pricey for such a small tool. I am a huge fan of this NYX one from Ulta. The reviews are amazing and you can not beat the price!

5. Makeup Brush Sponge Cleaner

I just purchased one of these sponge cleaners a couple of months ago and I am impressed! I like to use  multiple colors when doing my eyeshadow and I don’t always like to switch the brush I am using. This sponge lets you quickly clean your brush and move on to the next color without mixing your palette. Once the sponge has gotten dirty, you just rinse if off and let it air dry. Easy peasy!

6. Facial Roller

This is another tool I bought for myself awhile back and have really loved using. It also gets your skin prepped for makeup. This facial roller is used on clean skin in the morning and evening to help reduce puffiness. I have noticed a difference in how my skin looks after I use it. Plus, it feels like a relaxing personal face massage which is an added bonus!

7. Beauty Blender

If you are still using a brush to apply your foundation, give a beauty blender a try! They are amazing at getting your foundation to lay evenly and don’t waste as much product. There are a ton to choose from that range in price. This one from Ulta has a big fan following and gets great reviews!

8. Tweezers

Tweezers should be an essential part of your makeup drawer! This is another item that can range in price depending on the material used. These tweezers are priced a bit higher than some, but they are worth the splurge! They have a slanted tip that helps make your tweezing more precise. They also have a near perfect 5 star review from thousands of happy customers!

Bring in Spring with My Favorite Thing!

*I’m so excited to partner with FabFitFun to help bring in spring with their new spring box. It’s truly one of my favorite things!

Winter was fun while it lasted—we had a great holiday season, took the kids sledding in the mountains, and cozied up together nightly to hot cocoa. But I’m ready to usher in spring, warmer weather, and bright colors!

One of my most favorite signs of spring is the new FabFitFun box I just got. It’s my favorite way to greet a new season with fashion, beauty, and fun.

Bring in Spring with My Favorite Box!

FabFitFun is a seasonal subscription box that only comes four times a year: spring, summer, fall, and winter. It’s FULL of the funnest fashion, beauty, and health products, and the contents of the box are worth over $200 for only $49.99. It’s a phenomenal deal that gets even better!

Use the code KKBLOG to get $10 off your first box, making this awesome spring box only $39.99.

But hurry and sign up before it sells out! I promise you, these boxes go fast and this spring FabFitFun box is a good one!

What’s in the box:

You guys, this just may be my favorite FabFitFun box yet! Check out everything that comes in it! This is well over $200 of product and you get the whole box for $39.99 with code KKBLOG.

Just this adorable little robe retails at $84. It’s my favorite piece from the box…so cute for jumping out of the shower.

The box is customizable and you can choose items to fit your style and needs. The only problem I come across is having to decide which items to choose. They’re all so good!

Get your own Spring FabFitFun box!

Getting Ready for Spring

I’m completely ready for spring now. I mean, look at these sunglasses! All of the goodies in this season’s FabFitFun box are so on-trend! You gals know I love trying new products and this box is stuffed to the brim with high-end, incredible quality items. Oh, and many of them come from female-founded companies, which I absolutely love and support.

Don’t forget to use the code KKBLOG to get $10 off, making your first box only $39.99.

Another thing I love about my FabFitFun subscription is that boxes don’t come every single month, just four times a year. That means I don’t have to worry about managing a monthly subscription—it’s more like a little present that I give myself four times a year.

For me, that’s completely worth it! Plus, the box itself is a piece of artwork and always makes me happy.

Sometimes a seasonal perk-me-up is just the surprise I need. I’m loving FabFitFun and know you will too!
